PD Specialist and MA Adult Literacy Hotline Coordinator Alexandra Papagno has worked in adult education for 10 years, including four years as our bilingual (Spanish/English) Hotline Coordinator. She was the Senior Volunteer Coordinator at the Boston Debate League, where she transformed volunteer trainings to be more effective, including translating and delivering them in Spanish. During this time, she recruited 200 volunteers and increased engagement among Black and Latinx volunteers by 36%.

Currently, she isupports PD development and delivery in the areas of educational and student leadership and diversity, equity, and inlclusion. Alexandra has a BA in Spanish and Certificate in Native American and Indigenous Studies from UMass Amherst.
