The Directors Sharing Group is an opportunity to meet with other directors from your region to network, share resources and strategies, ask questions, and learn from and with one another.
As we settle back into the swing of the school year—and as many newly funded programs get their first classes underway—directors must navigate complex staff and student needs, local policies and protocols, and state guidance as they work to ensure a successful start of classes, all while building a safe, welcoming, and supportive program culture. This meeting is meant to offer a space to share your challenges, ideas, and strategies for back to school and beyond. Please bring your thoughts and questions to share!
- Directors and program leaders at all experience levels
This professional development activity/course is designed for:
Directors Sharing Group meetings are held quarterly: in FY24, meetings will be held in October, December, February, and May. In each meeting, we address topics that are relevant to your work at the moment and what’s happening in your program. There are questions but no formal agenda. Please bring your burning questions, your hot topics, and your shining successes to share with the group!
All directors in the region are welcome to attend. Each meeting has a regional focus, but directors who cannot attend the meeting for their region may attend another region’s meeting.
The sessions are facilitated by PSPDC Director Alexandra Papagno; guests are occasionally invited to discuss specific issues or resources.
Several days before the event, Jane Brandt at jane_brandt@worlded.org will send you an email with the Zoom link.
If you can’t attend this session, we will be offering Directors Sharing Group meetings again this year in December, February, and May.
