Description

At SABES, we strive to be a valuable resource and partner for you and members of your team. This Meet & Greet session is designed to provide new directors with an overview of the SABES professional development (PD) system. You will have the opportunity to meet the directors from the five SABES teams – Math & Numeracy, English Language Arts (ELA), ESOL, Program Support, and Communication – and begin a conversation about the many ways we can work together to support of high quality programs and student outcomes.

Course Format: The course is online facilitated, with one synchronous session to be held via Zoom. There will be a brief presentation, followed by opportunities to connect with SABES staff and other directors/program leaders. There is no pre-work or homework.

Extending Your Learning: After the Meet & Greet, we encourage you to meet with SABES staff to discuss you and your team’s professional development and to attend the Directors Sharing Group (coming soon to the SABES calendar!). The Directors Sharing Group is an open forum for program leaders to share questions and resources, and a great opportunity to build your network and get support.
