Andjela Kaur is a disability studies scholar whose work examines the relationship between workers with disabilities and the vocational rehabilitation systems worldwide. She is a Motivational Interviewing (MI) trainer specializing in using MI in workforce development and adult education programs. Andjela worked in adult education and community mental health settings as a teacher, vocational counselor, program manager, and ADA coordinator.
Currently, Andjela works as an Assistant Teaching Professor at Penn State, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Rehabilitation Counseling and Human Services. Andjela holds a doctorate in Global Inclusion and Social Development from the University of Massachusetts at Boston. She is a certified rehabilitation counselor.
