Jeanne Almanzar is the Assistant Director of Adult Education at Valley Opportunity Council in Chicopee, MA. Her role includes working with staff on curriculum, lesson planning, and professional development, drawing on her previous experiences of teaching intermediate ABE for 13 years, during which time she was the a STAR-trained teacher, and teaching preschool for 15 years.

Jeanne has worked with the SABES ELA C&I PD Center for several years in various capacities, including creating curricula and text sets, coaching, and facilitating professional development.
