Ellen is an ESOL education professional with six years of experience working with adult learners in the United States and three years of ESOL teaching experience with children and teens in China. She holds a London Trinity College Diploma in TESOL.

At QCAP, she teaches Level 1–3 adult ESOL classes and leads a digital literacy initiative designed to strengthen technology skills through both standalone instruction and integration within daily ESOL lessons. Each year, she administers the Northstar Digital Literacy Assessments to approximately 130 ESOL students, analyzes assessment data, and uses the results to inform instructional planning and classroom strategies.

In addition, she develops and delivers instruction in computer fundamentals, internet navigation, email, and productivity tools. She collaborates closely with study advisors, fellow instructors, and program leadership to monitor student progress, ensure program compliance, and continuously improve the quality of instruction for adult learners.
